Our Story

This website was created after a Bay Village man, Dan Bell, was falsely accused of a crime by a local family with a long history of false allegations, for which they had never been held accountable. These false allegations caused trauma to him, his family, and all who know him. It also impacted his emotional and financial stability.

The saying “It takes a village” is a proverb meaning it requires the support of the whole community—not just parents—to raise a healthy, well-adjusted child. In this day and age, it is even more true. It’s not just a phrase, it’s a movement. Because, the truth is, what happened to Dan, along with many others, could happen to any one of us.
